Colour Design Texture Creative Mood Board Session 1 (Two Part Workshop)
This is a two part workshop mostly run over two consecutive days.
For me colours plays a very important part in my creative process, as I just love colour the more the better.
We will discuss colours hues and tones light and dark how they can make a piece of work pop so to speak. There will be a number of books and magazine to inspire you including finished and in process mood boards created by your Artisan Teacher.
For the Creative Mood Board the first step will be to select your colours and mood you wish to create. Then using a wide selection of different materials from fabric, paper, ribbons, cords including cuttings from magazines. The process begins once completed this will be your sounding board to create your textile sampler piece in the next session.
From your Creative Mood Board and Textile Sampler you can go on and create more items on the same theme. it is also hoped that this will start you on an inspired journey to love and use colour more plus texture in your design process.
