This creative Craft is relatively new to me, having been thrown in at the deep end so to speak when an artisan teacher was unable to attend a workshop. So I had to learn fast the basic principals of Junk Journaling. it is an effect a great way to use up all your small bits of paper and embellishments while adding any items that have a meaning to you and you wish to include them in your Journal.

It is also possible to make your own journal from recycled card board this can make the cover of the journal and then just cards and papers for your pages.

Some people however have chosen to purchase a notebook or a purpose designed Journal to use. On the website for Sale a number packs with ephemera and or embellishments, papers and other bits to add to your journal stash. Another option is to buy one of our “Kitz” that will get you started.

I also teach Junk Journaling as a workshop, this Summer for the third year running I will be running a short workshop at the Carry on Crafting Festival location Ardingly Showground.
